Domaine des Coltabards is located in the Ménétréol region of the Loire Valley. The grapes are grown soils are Kimmeridgian and silex. After the grapes have been crushed a cold static settling takes place while the fermentation starts at low temperatures in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
The wines are aged on the lees until bottling to preserve freshness.

The Domaine des Coltabards is located within the commune of Ménétréol, a plateau between Sancerre and the Loire. It covers 7 hectares and its terroirs are primarily made up of clay-limestone and flint soils. Managed under Reasoned Agriculture, the yields are controlled and a parcel traceability is applied. With a strong and responsible commitment to sustainable viticulture, the vineyard obtains its level 2 Environmental Certification.
