Aurore Brinson

Westside Shop Manager
Certified Sommelier, Court of Master Sommeliers (CMS)
WSET Level 3 – Wine & Spirit Education Trust

Aurore Brinson was raised in the Jura region of France, a locale known for its distinctive and famous wines - and cheese! Aurore attended art school in Paris, where she spent nearly ten years focusing on set design and construction – working on an array of film and commercial projects.

In 2010, Aurore moved to New York City and followed a different career path, securing server and bartender positions at renowned restaurants such as The Odeon, Balaboosta, and Bar Boulud. Very quickly she discovered a passion for wine. She decided to dedicate herself to this passion and went on to earn certifications from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET), as well as the Court of Master Sommeliers (CMS).

Aurore’s first Sommelier position was with Terroir Tribeca. After some time, she went on to hold the title of Head Sommelier with Chefs Club in Nolita, with Alain Ducasse’s alum Didier Elena running the kitchen (that's also where she met her husband Mario); and then spent a bit of time with the Major Food Group at Dirty French. Ultimately, in May of 2018, the opportunity arose and Aurore was named Wine Director at Junoon, where she spearheaded the outstanding wine program of the Michelin Starred Indian restaurant.

Finally, Aurore moved to Atlanta a couple of years ago to follow her dream to open up a wine bar with her husband and Chef Mario. While waiting for the right opportunity, she worked with Fifth Group as Beverage Manager and joined Perrine's Team in November 2021.

Her favorite part about working at Perrine's is all the special wines she has the opportunity to work with: biodynamic, unknown grapes/regions, super allocated stuff: Perrine has it all and we know why she runs the show in ATL!
On her days off, she loves to explore the local culinary scene, work on projects in her house (a dream after spending 20 years in apartments!) and spend time with her Pitbull puppy, Tokyo.
